Punta Cantor is part of the Caleta Valdés on the eastern edge of the Peninsula Valdes. There is a free to visit viewing platform of a penguin colony on the cliffs and beach below.

It's worth a stop, as all penguins are worth stopping for. But it is a smaller colony compared to Estancia San Lorenzo so I would plan on visiting both if you want to see A LOT of penguins.

The boardwalk viewing point is small and you may see penguins close or they may be much further down the cliffs and on the beach, depending on how those penguins are feeling that day.
