They are careful to make sure that everyone gets an equal viewing experience, regardless of what side of the boat you are on. They move it around with the whales so everyone gets a view. So there is no need to worry about seating when boarding, you'll get a once in a lifetime experience!

Sunset: If you can swing it, book the final outing of the day to see sunset from the boat before returning back to the beach.

Day tours from Puerto Madryn: If you are basing yourself in the city, instead of Puerto Piramides on the peninsula then I recommend booking a day trip like this that includes whale watching.
