Growing up in Copenhagen this is a family Sunday walk.

Many families will walk from the center of the city out to what translates into “The Long Line” which is the old cruise ship harbor.

On this walk you pass by points of interest like The Little Mermaid, The Royal Castle, The Danish Opera and others.

In our memories it's the end of the walk that is special.

It is very common to get spoiled with a classical old fashioned ice cream at the end of the walk, where you also get to see the fishermen in action while sitting along the shore enjoying a nice sunset and the view to Sweden.
