Here we have another historic hotel in Portugal. This amazing building stand here in all its glamor today, but it used to be an abandoned sight for over 50 years after the first hotel owner lost everything he had.

Today the team of three wonderful women has rebuilt the hotel keeping the spirit of the 1930’s spirit.

Every corner of the hotel tells a story about the authentic moment that used to happen here.

BUT… We stay here because of the endless attention to detail, the luxurious treatment, the rooms that are just fantastic and the majestic restaurant and bar.

The rooms are so beautifully decorated in a classic clean style that is super inviting and takes you back to a time where glamor existed.

What has been very important for us is how dog friendly the hotel is. They have their own Queen of a water dog living there who will greet your furry fried upon arrival.

The hotel is located in one of the cutest town in the Algarve bordering Spain. Vila Real de Santo António is known as a mini Lisbon due to the city planning and architecture.
