We have never driven on the North side of the island without stopping here at "miradouro Véu da Noiva" which is a stunning viewpoint to a stunning waterfall collapsing over what used to be the main road on this part of the island. These old roads were the reason for many deaths and why the locals are very happy with the new super efficient tunnel system on the island.

We are alway amazed by these old roads that we would never drive on.
