Internet access is super helpful when navigating a new city. It will help you get from A to B, avoid scams, and look up reviews of the best dishes in the place you eat. Not to mention, it will help keep you safe!

You have two options for getting a SIM card in Bangkok:

  1. Download an ESim: If you have a mobile device that is esim compatible then you can download a virtual sim card on your phone. We tend to use MobiMatter or BNESim. You can get a discount with BNESIM if you use the code 'STEPHMYLIFE'

  2. Buy a physical SIM card: Go to any 7-11 with your passport and you can buy a SIM card with a company called TrueMove. There are 7 day options which will give you enough data for your trip for about a fiver.
