We stayed in one of the riverside bungalows at Aksari Ubud and honestly, it was pure magic. Falling asleep to the sound of the river right outside your room is one of those little luxuries that sticks with you — super calming and exactly what we needed.

The whole place is just beautiful. Surrounded by jungle, with a super sleek infinity pool and all those Bali-style design touches that make it feel special. It’s definitely built with couples in mind — romantic, quiet, and super private.

The restaurant food was great too, and the staff were next-level lovely. Super warm, helpful, and always up for a chat if you wanted one.

If you’re after a peaceful escape in Ubud with a bit of luxury and a lot of natural beauty, Aksari nails it. Not really a spot for kids or groups — this one’s all about the couple vibes.
