Travel Tip: Pack a Backpack Cooler

The travel item we didn't realize we'd use every single day.

Instead of bringing a standard backpack as your personal item on the plane, consider packing a backpack cooler instead. It became one of the most useful things we brought on this trip.

Each morning, we'd fill it with ice, cold drinks, sandwiches, fresh fruit, and snacks before heading out for the day. It made spontaneous picnics at waterfalls, parks, and scenic overlooks incredibly easy, saved us money on meals, and meant we always had cold water after hiking or swimming.

The best part? A backpack cooler is just as easy to carry as a regular backpack, leaving your hands free for kids, hiking, or exploring. It's one of those simple travel upgrades that makes every day on the road a little easier- and it's something we'll bring on every family adventure from now on.
