Cataract Falls
Hike
Directions

Just a stone's throw from the Sugarlands Visitor Center, you'll find the lovely Cataract Falls. It's one of the most accessible waterfalls in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, perfect for families with little ones or anyone looking for a peaceful walk in the woods without a strenuous hike. The trail is a gentle, mostly flat path of less than a mile round trip that winds through the forest, leading you to the charming 25-foot cascade. The best part for our families was the creek; we all enjoyed walking and playing in the water. Bring water shoes and a change of clothes!
