I’m Paolo, an Italian-born Londoner, photographer and long-time urban explorer. Over the years I have become increasingly interested in the London that sits outside the standard guidebooks: quiet mews, strange museums, old cemeteries, local markets, overlooked architecture, hidden gardens and places that most visitors pass without noticing.

That curiosity became London Advanced, a map and guide project for people who want to experience London in a deeper, slower and more personal way. My itineraries are based on real exploration, practical route-building and a simple belief: the best London is often the one hiding just around the corner.
