For one of the best views in the region, you have to take the scenic ropeway up to the Nunobiki Herb Gardens. Floating above the forest canopy, you'll see the city of Kobe and Osaka Bay spread out below you before arriving at a stunning mountain-top oasis. Spend a couple of hours wandering down through twelve different themed gardens, like the Fragrant Garden and Rose Symphony Garden, each bursting with seasonal colors and scents. It's a beautiful escape from the city bustle, with plenty of spots to relax and just enjoy the fresh mountain air.
