The hike to Norwayâs famous Pulpit Rock is a true bucket-list experience! The trail is well-maintained and manageable for most hikers with moderate fitness. Expect to spend around 4 hours on the round trip.
â ïž Caution is essential near the cliff edge and on the rock itself â it drops 600 meters straight down!
The trail is open year-round, but hiking is only recommended from April onward, depending on snow conditions. There are two parking lots at the trailhead (250 NOK fee). Note that the busiest times are 8:00 to 16:00, especially on weekends and during the high season (JuneâAugust). For a quieter experience, start early or in the late afternoon.
