Crete lies in the far south.
It's connected through a network of ferries which enable you to hop on to nearby islands and continue your trip, or end up in Crete coming from these islands. These are:
Milos island. Connected via Superfast Ferries, docking in Heraklion (Grimaldi Lines)
Kythera & Antikythera. Via Seajets ferry, starting its journey from the port of Gythion in the Peloponnese and docking in Kissamos in Crete.
Santorini. Via Hellenic Seaways. Docking at the port of Heraklion
Kasos & Karpathos. Via ANEK Lines, docking in Heraklion and Sitia. The ferry continues its way to Rodos and plenty of other Dodecanese islands.
Gavdos. Via ANENDYK Ferries, docking in Sfakia, Loutro and Agia Roumeli.
