Train Disruptions

Key disruptions:
6 Sept - Jungfrau Marathon. The Lauterbrunnen valley bus to Stechelberg will not be running in the morning due to the Jungfrau Marathon. Using the Grütschalp cable car + Mürren BLM train to reach Mürren. Learn more.
Luzern-Interlaken Express. From 13 Oct - 21 Dec 2025, the section from Meiringen-Brienz-Interlaken Ost will be closed to trains due to planned construction. There will be replacement bus service for this section. Alternatively, you can instead travel via Bern/Olten, travel time about 2h30. Learn more.
Bernina Express - From 3-17 Nov 2025, the Bernina Express will not travel the regular route via Bergün and over the Landwasser Viadukt due to construction. Instead, it will travel via Klosters. Learn more.
