Summer Packing List for Switzerland

Summer in Switzerland is generally warm and comfortable, with daytime temperatures often ranging from 20-30°C (68-86°F) in lower elevations. Most travelers spend the majority of their time in summer clothing.

However, mountain weather can change quickly. Temperatures are often cooler at higher elevations, and afternoon thunderstorms are common. A combination of a long-sleeve layer, fleece, and waterproof rain jacket will keep you comfortable if temperatures drop or a storm moves through.
