This beautiful hike traverses a mountain range south of Lucerne with big mountain views, alpine meadows, forests and a little lake popular for picnics. This trail is particularly nice in fall, since the cable cars run all year round and it faces the sun all day long. I hope you like it!

Most of the path follows a wide dirt road, making easier walking for beginner hikers and even possible with all-terrain strollers. The full trail is 20km long, but we shorten it with use of cable cars in the middle of the trail to make a more reasonable day hike for casual hikers.

Suggested hike: 3 hours • 9 km • 260m up, 430m down
