Chäserrugg has one of my very favorite views in eastern Switzerland, with dramatic cliffs dropping down to the bright blue Walensee lake below. I love hiking here and go here often with my own family and visitors. The cable cars are open until 22 Oct 2023 so you have time to go when the fall colors have finally arrived.

A cable car takes you above the tree line to the cliffs, where many people come just lounge in the sun and eat at the restaurant. But we definitely suggest the easy 3k loop around the high plateau, giving you many different perspectives of this exciting landscape. Learn more about this easy trail.
