Monte Gambarogno offers breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Maggiore. The hike from Alpe di Neggia (parking & bus stop available) to Monte Gambarogno is a fantastic option to explore the beauty of the area. Starting from the village of Neggia the trail ascends towards Monte Gambarogno, reaching an altitude of around 1732m meters at its peak. The trail is well-marked and typically takes around 3-4 hours to complete. It is considered a moderately difficult hike. As you ascend towards Monte Gambarogno, the views become increasingly panoramic and once you reach the summit, you can take in the spectacular 360-degree views and enjoy a sense of accomplishment!
