The Furka Car Train is a convenient and fast way for drivers from Central Switzerland to reach Zermatt. The train runs through the 15.4 km Furka Tunnel with a 15-minute trip from Realp in Canton Uri to Oberwald in Canton Valais. As you will travel through the tunnel, you'll have some time to rest and relax before continuing on the journey to Visp, Täsch and then the auto-free streets of Zermatt. Operating 365 days a year, the cartrain runs every 30 minutes on Friday - Monday and every 60 minutes from Tuesday - Thursday. It's an exciting way to make your way up into the Swiss Alps!
