Enjoy this beautiful mountain lake and some hiking! You can easily get to the lake by car but if you're up for some hiking, the trail starts at the large parking in Obersee, in front of the Berghotel Obersee. First go to the shore of the Obersee and then turn off at the Obersee-Alp along the Sulzbach and follow the path via Chrüzegg and Allenboden then into the area around Stockplanggen. Then you also pass the Brunnmettlenalp and then soon reach Geissgaden to come back to the starting point. Circular, moderately challenging hike, 495m elevation gain, 10.5km, around 3h34min to complete.
