Lac de l'Hongrin is an idyllic mountain reservoir located in the canton of Vaud. It is also home to one of Switzerland's largest hydroelectric power plants. The Hongring Nord and Sud arch dams were completed in 1969 providing energy to the Veytaux Power Station, which has become one of the country's key sources for electricity. It's a stunning place to visit; come for a day and enjoy the spectacular views that Lac de l'Hongrin provides. Easily accessible by walk from la Lécherette village.
