Temppeliaukio Church, also known as the Church of the Rock, is a unique Lutheran church in Helsinki, Finland. Designed by architects Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen, this church was built directly into solid rock and opened in 1969. With its iconic copper dome roof and excellent acoustics, it has become a popular tourist attraction, drawing half a million visitors annually. The interior, carved out of rock, is bathed in natural light and serves as a concert venue. Overall, it's a cool spot to check out if you're ever in Helsinki!
