The Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, also known as the Summer Palace, is a breath-taking palace complex located in Bang Pa-In district, in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province Thailand. It was originally constructed by King Prasat Thong in 1632, and later restored by King Mongkut in the mid-19th century. This opulent palace includes buildings such as the Wehart Chamrunt (Heavenly Light), a Chinese-style royal palace and throne room; the Warophat Phiman (Excellent and Shining Heavenly Abode), a royal residence; the Ho Withun Thasana (Sages' Lookout), a brightly painted lookout tower; and the Aisawan Thiphya-Art (Divine Seat of Personal Freedom), a pavilion constructed in the middle of a pond. The amazing palace remains open to visitors and its many milestones make it a must-see destination.
