Atelier September is a popular breakfast and lunch restaurant with locations in the city center and Nordhavn. The food is simple, but done well. Do you recognize the pile of whipped butter in the picture? Because I see it all over social media and let me tell you, it tastes as good as it looks. (This is your warning that A.S. is an Instagram darling, and since they don't take reservations, there is a good chance you'll have to wait if you come at peak times. I could definitely understand this place being called "overhyped" because the food really is quite simple, but I also love a simple "morning plate.")
