Don't get lost!
Download offline maps before heading into the parks, as cell service is limited or nonexistent in many areas of Banff, Yoho, and Jasper—especially along the Icefields Parkway and remote trailheads. Apps like Google Maps, Maps.me, and AllTrails let you save maps for offline use so you can navigate without signal. This is especially helpful for finding trailheads, staying on the right path during hikes, and locating rest stops or points of interest.
