The Smith Dorrien Trail is a dusty scenic drive in Kananaskis. This 43-mile gravel road offers stunning views and takes you through moose habitat. It's a bumpy ride, so watch out for wildlife and be prepared for dusty conditions. Just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take it easy on those washboards!

There are plenty of stops that you'll want to take here like Spray Lake Reservoir and other ones that you'll literally see from your car! Eventually you'll want to merge back on to highway 40 to make your way back to Canmore. Here you'll want to stop at places like Mount Lorette Ponds and Wedge Pond.
