Miradouro do Terreiro da Luta in Funchal gives you amazing views of the city, the iconic bay, and the Atlantic Ocean.

At the viewpoint, you'll see the 5-meter-tall Nossa Senhora da Paz statue, built in 1927 to thank for protection during World War I.

Fun fact: Terreiro da Luta was once the end of Madeira’s old railway line, connecting Funchal to Monte.
