Hôtel Suisse is just a short walk from both the Medina and Habib Bourguiba Avenue, meaning it’s perfectly placed if you want to be in the middle of Tunis without splurging. The rooms are straightforward and nothing to rave about. But it covers all of your basics at a good price: comfortable beds, decent showers, and air-con that actually works (always a win in Tunisia). Nothing over the top, but everything you need. The staff was very friendly too!

The hotel also features a small rooftop terrace where you can sit with a coffee and watch the city wind down after a day of wandering the Medina’s winding alleys. As with most decent stays in Tunisia, this hotel comes with breakfast.
