Small but full of character, the Tozeur Medina stands out for its unique Berber (Amazigh)–style brickwork—intricate patterns built right into the walls. It’s unlike any other medina in Tunisia, and wandering its narrow streets feels a bit like stepping into an open-air art piece.

You’ll find a handful of cozy cafes, small museums, and artisan shops worth popping into, along with plenty of spots to just sit and take in the atmosphere. If you’re using Tozeur as your base to explore the oases and Mos Espa, make sure you leave time to wander here—it’s one of the town’s highlights.
