Chak Wak is easily one of the most unique places in Tozeur. By day, it’s a quirky open-air museum with replicas of Berber ruins, scenes from Tunisia’s history, and even life-sized dinosaur sculptures scattered among the palm groves. It’s certainly a strange place, but it's definitely not something you’ll find anywhere else in Tunisia.

At night, the museum closes and the vibe shifts completely. Restaurant Chak Wak opens up with elegant outdoor seating tucked under the palms, live music, and even traditional dancing. The food is traditional and it’s one of the only places in Tozeur where you can sip a glass of wine with dinner. It’s a perfect spot to wrap up a day in the desert.
