Condor Machay Waterfall, located outside Cotopaxi National Park, is a hidden gem in Ecuador. The Río Pita, originating from the Cotopaxi National Park paramos, flows through rocky canyons, forming unique waterfalls and landscapes. This secluded area, accessible only to hikers, boasts an 80-meter waterfall known as Cóndor Machay, meaning "Nest of the Condor" in Quichua. The canyon is surrounded by agricultural fields, preserving its natural beauty. Local communities maintain the trails, bridges, and infrastructure, making it accessible to visitors. The journey features natural and man-made waterfalls, native vegetation, unique scenery, and various bridges, offering an entertaining experience for both children and adults.
