The Colombo Galbokka Lighthouse stands tall at 29 meters high and was built in 1952 to replace the old lighthouse. It offers a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean and is a city landmark. The lighthouse also features a naval gun battery used for traditional gun salutes by the Sri Lanka Navy. With its rich history and strategic location, the Colombo Galbokka Lighthouse continues to be an iconic symbol of the port city.
