Situated in the canton of Archidona in Napo, Ecuador, the beautiful cascada of Hollín is a must-see for those visiting the region. The sheer size and power of the cascades makes for an awe-insipiring sight, as the river waters drop over 20 meters into the lake below. Unfortunately, a recent incident saw tourists get caught off guard when the river unexpectedly overflowed, resulting in some of them being swept away in the torrent of water. Thankfully, all of them were rescued with no injuries or fatalities reported.
