Get ready for an adventure to one of the island's most beautiful hidden gems, Charco El Pilón. To reach this stunning waterfall and its crystal-clear swimming hole, you'll embark on a rewarding 2.5-mile hike that's a real local experience. The trail itself is part of the fun, as you'll navigate through lush forest, over boulders, and across the river more than a dozen times—so be sure to wear sturdy shoes you don't mind getting wet! The hike takes about an hour each way and can be slippery, but the payoff is your own private paradise. Just a heads-up: don't trust the GPS pin directly; follow the local advice and look for the trailhead at the end of Route 362 to start your journey correctly.
