Get ready for a bit of a climb, but the rewards are well worth it at this incredible rock temple. You'll ascend over 500 steps, discovering ancient cave temples with stunning murals and massive reclining Buddha statues tucked into the rock at different levels. The effort pays off with absolutely breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside from the summit. It's a peaceful and deeply spiritual place, often called our 'Little Sigiriya', and a must-see for a taste of the island's rich history. There's a small entrance fee of 500 rupees.
