Parque Kennedy is the heart of Miraflores. It's a lively park filled with street vendors, musicians, and the city’s most famous residents: cats! Dozens of friendly cats lounge around the park, and locals and travelers alike stop to pet them as they pass by.

Parque Kennedy was more than just a park for us. It was actually our neighborhood for the month we stayed in Lima. We loved greeting the cats on our walks and seeing how the park transformed at night. Sometimes there were pop-up markets or live performances, and once we even watched a soccer game on a giant outdoor screen surrounded by cheering locals. It’s a true gathering place that captures the spirit of Miraflores.

Pro Tip: Come in the evening when the park is buzzing with activity, from food stalls to music to spontaneous events. And yes, the cats are always around.
