Manolo is a Lima staple, best known for its warm, freshly made churros. Filled with chocolate, vanilla, or dulce de leche, they’re the ultimate comfort snack (and for us, dangerously close to where we were staying in Miraflores). The dulce de leche churros were hands-down our favorite.

But Manolo is more than just a churro stop. It’s a classic café with a full menu of sandwiches, coffees, and light meals, and it’s been around since the 1960s. There’s always a lively mix of locals grabbing a quick bite, families sharing desserts, and travelers like us making repeat visits.

Pro Tip: Order the churros from the to-go counter. They come out piping hot, perfectly crisp, and best enjoyed right away. Pair with a coffee for the full experience.
