Duna Camp is more than just camping — it’s a full desert adventure. The journey starts with a thrilling dune bashing ride in a buggy, with plenty of chances to sled or tube down the dunes before arriving at camp. Once there, you’ll find spacious tents equipped with actual comfy beds (not just sleeping bags), a delicious dinner by the fire, and silence under a blanket of stars.
We loved how Duna Camp gave us the best of both worlds. By day, it was adrenaline-filled with buggy rides and sand sledding, and by night, it was peaceful and cozy. We stayed warm all night in the tents and woke up to a magical sunrise over the endless dunes. It felt like stepping into another world.
Pro Tip: Book early in high season. This is one of the most popular experiences in Huacachina. Bring warm clothes, as desert nights can get chilly even with comfortable bedding.
