El Olivar de San Isidro is a huge, peaceful park filled with olive trees (some dating back to the 16th century). Once part of a colonial olive grove, it’s now one of Lima’s most beautiful green spaces, with wide lawns, shady paths, and quiet corners.

We were surprised to find such a big, tranquil park in the middle of the city. It's a beautiful spot for a slow walk, a picnic, or just sitting on a bench with a good book. The park is also home to birds, ponds, and a few historic mansions along its edges, which add to its charm.

Pro Tip: Come on a weekday morning for the quietest atmosphere.
