After exploring Colca Canyon, nothing feels better than soaking in the natural hot springs scattered around the valley. The most popular are near Chivay and Yanque, with a series of outdoor pools ranging in temperature, surrounded by mountain views.

We ended our 3-day trek with a long soak in the springs, and it was the perfect reward after days of hiking. Muscles instantly relaxed, and the peaceful setting made it easy to just sit back and take it all in.

Most Colca Canyon tours include the hot springs, so just double check before booking.

Pro Tip: Bring a swimsuit, sandals, and a towel if your tour doesn’t provide one. Go in the afternoon when it’s warmest, since the air can be chilly in the mornings and evenings.
