Tambomachay is often called the Inca baths, a small but elegant site with aqueducts, canals, and stonework that still channels water to this day. It’s believed to have been a ceremonial site for water and fertility, possibly reserved for Inca nobility.

When we visited, the peaceful sound of water flowing through 500-year-old channels was the highlight. Standing there, you can’t help but admire the Incas’ deep respect for water as a life-giving force.

Pro Tip: Combine Tambomachay with Puka Pukara. They’re just a short walk apart.
