Q'enqo (meaning “labyrinth” in Quechua) is a mysterious Inca site carved directly into a massive limestone rock. It’s thought to have been a ceremonial center, with altars, tunnels, and niches possibly used for offerings or mummification rituals.

We found the site especially intriguing because of its underground chambers, and walking through them felt both eerie and fascinating. Though smaller than other ruins around Cusco, it’s a place where imagination runs wild.

Pro Tip: Combine a visit to Q'enqo with the nearby sites of Tambomachay and Puka Pukara.
