Driving east from Grindavík town, you'll come across this epic little mountain. Before you drive up the winding slope you should find a small gravel parking spot by the road. From there you can walk across the lava field until you see this hidden beach with the mountain in the back. One of my favourite views on the Reykjanes peninsula.

• Nice to know: You can go down to the beach but make sure the tide is right (the way down is close to the base of the mountain and can be tricky).
