Svínafellsjökull is an outlet glacier of Europe's largest ice cap, located just off the ring road. Svínafellsjökull can be easily accessed from two parking lots. Its beauty was even noticed by the producers of Game of Thrones, who filmed scenes of the 'North of the Wall' battle in season 7 here! You can walk all the way to the lagoon at the base of the glacier where you have epic views of the entire icefall.
