This is an interesting and entertaining exhibition about the Icelandic sheep and sheep farming. The exhibition focuses on providing diverse entertainment for all ages. The children can enjoy themselves in their own room, in which are toys and colour books, while the grown-ups can view the exhibition. One of the main attractions in the Sheep Farming Museum are the lambs, which the visitors can often feed with milk from a bottle.

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: An historical museum about past life in Iceland.

  • Best season: Summer (it's usually open from around from June 1st to August 31st).

  • Best time of day: Opening hours are from 10 am to 6 pm every day.

  • Nice to know: There's also a nice little café in the museum.
