Fosshotel Stykkisholmur is a nice hotel in the charming town of Stykkishólmur in Snæfellsnes. All rooms in the hotel have a desk and a private bathroom with a shower. A Scandinavian buffet breakfast is served every morning and there's also a restaurant in the hotel.

• Nearby attractions: The entire Snæfellsnes peninsula is full of incredible attractions. A few of my favourites are Kirkjufell, Svöðufoss and Arnarstapi. Also make sure you visit Súgandisey Island while in Stykkishólmur and wander around the harbour! This local swimming pool is also nice (close to the hotel).
