The classic arrow head mountain from Game of Thrones. Located by the main road that goes around Snæfellsnes peninsula in West Iceland. This one is definitely worth a stop when you're driving around this part of Iceland!

• What it is: An iconic mountain in Snæfellsnes, West Iceland.

• Best season: Any

• Best time of day: During summer it gets busy there so I'd aim for early sunrise or late sunset. It's always pretty though.

• Nice to know: You have a few different viewpoints to choose from: There's a few by the waterfall (classics) but you can also go down to the ocean right by the bridge on the main road for some lesser seen angles.
