A cool area by the shore in Snæfellsnes where you can visit the Visitor Center for Snæfellsjokull National Park. It's a fun place to wander around and soak up the nature vibes along the shore, with a beach and a lighthouse adding to the chill atmosphere. You have a great view of the less seen side of Lóndrangar and a small museum (Salthús) by children that's free to enter.

QUICK NOTES:

  • What it is: An area by the shore on the Snæfellsnes peninsula with a lighthouse, view of Lóndrangar and a small and free museum by children.

  • Best season: Any.

  • Best time of day: Any.

  • Nice to know: There's a cool view of the backside of Lóndrangar from there and make sure to visit the Salthús museum (looks like a rundown shack by the shore).
