Grant & Holly MichaelsIceland Travel Guide

For a truly authentic Icelandic experience, you have to check out the Húsafell Canyon Baths. It's a bit of a hidden gem where you'll join a small guided group for a short, easy hike through some stunning highland scenery, passing a beautiful two-tiered waterfall called Langifoss that you won't find in most guidebooks. The walk itself is part of the magic, leading you to these beautifully crafted geothermal pools tucked away in a serene canyon. After about a 10-15 minute walk from where the transport drops you off, you'll descend a staircase of about 60 steps to reach the baths for a relaxing soak in the warm waters, surrounded by nothing but nature.
