The scarcity of water, limited use of technologies and shared roooms are certainly not for everyone. It is a challenge to stay here. But you will be rewarded with the most relaxing and stress-free stay ever! Forget about all your troubles and responsibilities here.

REACHING THE HUT Rifugio Nuvolau can only be reached on foot. From Passo Giau you can use a cable car to get to Rifugio Averau. Then you can get here in 30 minutes. Hiking all the way from Passo Giau takes 3h. From Cinque Torri it takes 1.5h. There is multiple paths so it's up to you where you wish to start.

The hut should be open all year round.
